Nevada Real Estate License Requirements

Sales Associate Pre-License Requirements

A course of instruction in real estate principles, practices, procedures, law and ethics which is designed to meet the educational requirements of an applicant for an original license as a salesman must consist of:

At least 90 hours of classroom lectures; or
The equivalent in a correspondence or extension course.

Sales Associate Post Licensing

Licensees who are renewing their license for the first time within their first year of license, must complete 30 hours of Post-Licensing courses which we do not yet offer.

Sales Associate Continuing Education

Nevada salespersons are required to complete a total of 24 hours of approved Continuing Education every 2 years including 12 hours of mandatory topics and 12 hours of electives. 

Please note that a maximum of three hours of personal development courses may be taken for renewal or reinstatement of a license.

Broker Continuing Education

Nevada brokers and broker-associates are required to complete a total of 24 hours of approved Continuing Education every 2 years including 15 hours of mandatory topics and 9 hours of electives.
